Getting started

Add your child
  1. Tap “Add a child”.
  2. Enter their name and date of birth.
  3. Add a photo if you like, then save.
Put Chapter Moments on your phone
  1. iPhone: open chaptermoments.com in Safari, tap the Share button (square with arrow), then “Add to Home Screen”.
  2. Android: open it in Chrome, tap the ⋮ menu, then “Add to Home screen” or “Install app”.
  3. Or tap “Add Chapter Moments to your phone” on the homepage for step-by-step pictures.

Saving memories

Add a memory
  1. Open your child's timeline and tap “Add a memory”.
  2. Add a title, a note and up to 6 photos (10 for a birthday).
  3. Pick the date and tap Save.
Answer the Question of the Day
  1. Open your child's timeline.
  2. Tap today's question or “Answer it” (or “Skip” for a new one).
  3. Type a few words or add a photo, and save. It goes straight into your child's story.
Edit or delete a memory
  1. On the timeline, find the memory.
  2. Tap the pencil to edit, or the bin to delete.
  3. Deleted memories stay in “Recently deleted” for 30 days, so you can restore them.
Milestones
  1. When adding a memory, tick one or more Milestones such as first smile, first steps or first word.
  2. Tap “Record it” on a milestone card in the timeline to save that moment.
  3. To add your own, go to Settings → Milestones.

Family

Invite family
  1. Open your child's timeline and tap “Family”.
  2. Enter their email under “Invite by email” and choose Contributor (can add memories) or Viewer (can only look).
  3. They'll get an email to join.
Remove someone
  1. Open your child's timeline and tap “Family”.
  2. Tap the remove button next to their name and confirm.

Memory Books

Order a Memory Book
  1. Go to Books (tap “Build a book”).
  2. Choose One year, Custom dates or Everything so far.
  3. Preview every page. Printing is coming soon — tap “Notify me when books launch” and we'll email you.
Cancel a book order
  1. Memory Books are coming soon. When they launch, you'll be able to cancel an order while its status says “Ordered”.
Photo quality
  1. If a photo is too small to print sharply, we'll warn you before you order.
  2. Swap it for a larger photo, or leave it out.

Account & billing

Upgrade to Family (R249/year)
  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Tap “Plan: Free — Upgrade to Family”.
  3. Choose Family.
Cancel auto-renewal
  1. Go to Settings → Billing → “Cancel auto-renewal”.
  2. You keep the Family plan until the end of the paid year.
Refunds
  1. Full refund within 7 days of joining or renewing.
  2. Email hello@chaptermoments.com.
Download all your memories
  1. Go to Settings → “Download my journal”.
  2. You'll get every memory as a PDF and every photo in a ZIP — free.
Delete your account
  1. Go to Settings → “Delete my account”.
  2. Download a free copy first, then type DELETE to confirm.
